Today we have news that Treyarch are gearing up to release the latest PC patch with the following improvements:
PC Patch 1.05:
Good morning ladies and gents. We apologize that we’ve been absent, we just enjoyed christmas too much.
Anyway, Treyarch have announced an update for the ongoing problems with the game. Mainly the complaints about the AK47 and the Second Chance Perk.
There have been alot of complaints that the perk is overused and cheap. Which has prompted Treyarch to consider changeing the points system on it, to the person who puts the player in second chance still gets the kill, and if the person that is in second chance kills their shooter, they get an assist. I’m not really sure what to think of this. If im having a howler of a game i usually switch to my second chance class to try and at least even out my K/D ratio.
Secondly, the makers of black ops have listened to complaints about how the AK47 with a grip attached it too powerful and way overused, as you may of noticed. Treyarch are considering making the gun more sensitive to recoil and make it less accurate to please all gamers.
We at Black Ops Info have thrown together a guide and walkthrough to get you on your way to dominate Zombies in the game.
To be honest we will be concentrating on the “Kino Der Toten” Map as we have yet to master the other Pentagon map.
Ok So in “Kino Der Toten” you obviously start off in a room with an upstairs. Its relatively easy to survive in here to at least level 5. To maximize your points stab your way through the first few rounds, shoot them 5 times in the legs first and stab. this will get maximum points.
Ok so after a while you will start to feel overun. This is the time to unlock the upstairs door and NOT the downstairs. Grap the automatic gun off the wall for a little extra fire power, and then unlock the next door going into the large staircased room. You can survive in here for a few rounds.
Once you feel overun again, unlock the next few doors until you get to the stage, switch on the power, However beware that this will unlock the Nova Zombies which are irritating. Hopefully you would have come accross the magic box and have decent weapons by now, if you havent your unfortunately going to have to unlock the outside (Which i advice against). Now you want to quickly go down the theatre and and open the door to the first room. this creates a perminant circle you can retreat round.
Now to get to the latter rounds your going to want to get good LMG’s and just run round the circle shooting whats behind you. Doing this trick you should get to 20+ without to much of a problem and just improve on that.
Tips:
If you guys could tear yourself away from the game for a few seconds, I’d just to go through a few thoughts about the Release.
Firstly, as expected Black Ops has received critical acclaim. Most reviews are 90% plus. However like previous releases it is not yet perfect.

So far, I’ve only experienced slight lag and the mic’s not showing up problem. Guess i must be lucky.
Anyway, in general the game is awesome. I’ve completed the single player campaign and although at times it is rather frustrating it is very good, a great story. Probably the best Call of Duty storyline so far. 8/10
The multiplayer is as expected. Awesome. Although it does take some getting used to if your a MW2 player. I miss having my shotgun as a secondary weapon. The maps are good. I dont dislike any, but i havent chosen a favourite yet. The cash system is also very innovative and great, unlocking a claymore at the begining? really?
The RC killstreak is my favourite it’s great fun. Apart from the obvious frustrations of CoD multiplayer, i cant think of many negatives. 9/10
Finally i come to the zombies, in my opinion the best part of the game. The pentagon level is brilliant and i’ve played it for hours so far. Although i would suggest you play with friends, coop online with strangers tends to be horrendous. 9/10
I don’t mean to seem a bit nerdy, but it’s always funner when your actually winning a game. And most of us i’m sure are at least average at Call of Duty. I know i’m not bad, but not nearly great at the game.
However, there are small things that can help, my biggest problem, and im sure some of yours too, is reaction time. Take a look at this controller below.
This controller, for the ps3, is designed to help with reaction, Made solely for black ops, it utilizes stuff like making the shooting button shorter so it takes less time to register a shot. Trust us, stuff like that actually does help alot. I, myself used a simular controller for a while in modern warfare 2. It did help. So if you want that edge on your friend. take as a look at the controller.

Firstly, this is for the UK fans, if your looking from the US, sorry we cant help.
The majority of GAME stores will be open at 11.45pm until about 1am on the 8th for the release. If your store isn’t open, then your pretty unlucky.
My prefered method however as im sure alot of you are aware of is supermarket midnight releases. I’m sure black ops will be available in most 24 hour stores including Tesco, Sainsburies and Asda. They are usually the cheapest option too, every year you can gaurantee a price war between them for a call of duty game.

As you can see the finished article of the game is looking pretty awesome. Black Ops is definately a game of the year contender, and i havent even played it yet.
On another note, i’ve seen a trailer for the Black Ops version of zombies, i’ll try and find it again and post it here.
With around 3 weeks to go until launch. We’d like to express our excitment. We’ve removed our itchy trigger fingers from our nose and are preparing them for use on the controller. But anyway, enough about our dirty habbits here’s a list of the single player Missions, In total there are 13.
